Lathe_Master
I purchased my K70 MK.2 last year for black Friday, and was messing around with ICUE changing the colors of my keyboard when I noticed that the red led on my "Y" key is significantly dimmer than the rest. so when I did colors like pink the Y key looked blue instead of the desired color. does anyone have any ideas on how to repair this? I dont really want to open a ticket as it took ages to get anything done when my MM800 stopped working and they sent me a new one that immediately stopped working as well. If there is a way to buy a new switch and replace it myself I think that would be the idea outcome. I have attached photos of the keyboard in both red and pink where you can see the Y key is a different color or weaker color than the rest of the keyboard. jaahaavi
It seems that you have some dust under the Y-key that is blocking the light from RGB-led. RGB leds are very small and they have three light sources (red, green and blue) build beside each other. So even very small dust particle can block light from one of the colors. I suggest that you use some dust off spray to get that dust away from rgb-led.

I cleaned out the key cap and the key switch thoroughly and the problem persists.
XxdarshotxX
I have a similar problem, but with the "W" key. The problem is very similar to the video below: [ame] [/ame] Funny that when I hit the key or blow it, the color changes to a bluish shade or it turns a yellowish shade. I was lucky enough to resolve the exact same problem on the N key of my K70 RGB MK.2 by approaching the key from the upper side of the mount with compressed air. A two-seconds fix...
