thelvyn
I have the TWINX1024-3200XL Pro kit which is 512x2 pc3200 2-2-2-5 on Asus AV8/Bios 1.009final. One of the sticks got memtest errors at 2-2-2-5 while other work fine. Of course, I got error in Dual (together) too I used the same bios setup as you did Testing parameters for XMS3200XL: CMX512-3200XL Data Sheet Motherboard make and model: Asus P4C800/-E and /or Asus A7N8X DRAM Clock: 200 MHz SDRAM CAS Latency: 2T SDRAM RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 2T SDRAM Row Precharge (tRP): 2T SDRAM Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 5T SDRAM Bank Interleave: 4 Bank All other settings are motherboard defaults. I also tried : Command 2T: Enable & Disable & Auto DDR Voltage: 2.7 & 2.8 I think an RMA will be necessary, don't you ?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 22, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 22, 2005 Please set the Dim Voltage to 2.8 Volts and test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and I would use the latest beta bios 1011 Beta 5 and load setup defaults before you set the dim voltage. thelvyn
Please set the Dim Voltage to 2.8 Volts and test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and I would use the latest beta bios 1011 Beta 5 and load setup defaults before you set the dim voltage. I already tested the latest beta bios 1011-005.zip --> it was worst When I write I also tried : Command 2T: Enable & Disable & Auto DDR Voltage: 2.7 & 2.8 it mean after setup the bios to default & set 2-2-2-5 timing, I made each following test with one stick at a time. Command 2T Enable & DDR default - Command 2T Disabbled & DDR default Command 2T Enable & DDR 2.7v - Command 2T Disable & DDR 2.7v Command 2T Enable & DDR 2.8v - Command 2T Disable & DDR 2.8v Each time I got Memtest errors with the same stick. With 2-3-3-6 timing It work fine with all test whatever other settings I may config but I bought 2-2-2-5 not 2-3-3-6 (Power supply: OCZ PowerStream 520 W)
