Hi

I bought a pair of 2x256 Corsair XMS TwinX PC3700PT modules about 2 years ago from http://www.komplett.ie and for some reason i have yet to explain, they stopped working last week, i tried them on various pc configurations, just in case it was something else wrong with mine, but i got the same result, no post with one of the modules and i get a weird 500aOK on the memory count with the other and it just freezes there.

I haven't overvolted the modules or anything, they where working flawlessly at 466Mhz with 2.65v up to last week.

Hope to hear from u soon Ram dude

Best regards

John

Can you tell me the make and model of MB you have along with the CPU speed and it’s FSB as well? In addition, please tell me the bios settings you have set for both CPU and memory and any performance settings that you may have set?

Please try and set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts and test the modules one at a time with the CPU Freq set to 233 MHz. You can use http://www.memtest.org to test them.

Like i said on my first post, i cannot even POST with these modules anymore on any of the 4 pc configurations i have tried, can't get into BIOS, can't see anything on the screen, so how can i increase the voltage, let alone run memtest ?
