veikkou
I have a single module: Value Select (VS512MB400) Motherboard: Gigabyte K8NSPro AMD Athlon 64 3700 NVidia GeForce FX 5500 Memtest spits out 54 errors at 99% Pass during 71% Test I then saw similar posts for other memory for DDR Voltage. My MB is at factory stock levels. Does this RAM require more voltage or any other specific settings? I ask because no OS will install on my system. Windows BSOD with MEMORY_MANAGEMENT or IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL during the installation. Please help Mr. RAM Guy. I will not sleep until this is resolved. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 22, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 22, 2005 I would give it a try, Dim Over Voltage Control to +.2 volts and then test with http://www.memtest.org to be sure.
veikkou
I ended up fixing the issue. The latest BIOS used was evidently corrupt. With the second to latest BIOS revision, memtest ran for 6 hours with no errors and at 2.5volts. It took eight hours to figure that one out, but I am very happy that the RAM is not bad. Now I go get some sleep. Thank you.
