dharper
I have a Chaintech SK8T800 motherboard with an Athlon 64 3000+ processor. The RAM is a VS1GB400C3 module. I could not get WinXP to load until I put a different RAM module in. When I run Memtest on the original 1GB module I get errors. What is the next step? dharper
Can you tell me bios settings you have set for both CPU and memory and any performance settings that you may have set? Here's what I found in the bios settings. Nothing was changed from the default out-of-the-box settings. CPU internal cache enabled External cache enabled CPU L2 cache ECC checking enabled Current FSB frequency 200MHz Current DRAM frequency 200MHz CPU clock 200MHz Are there any other settings you need that I might have missed?
