jttt
I started having problems about a month ago, and ran memtest with the results being errors. I tried running the memory at more lax timings with no luck. I narrowed it down to one of the two modules, the other runs 100% perfect at factory settings. At 200MHZ the bad module fails from 121.3MB to 125.6MB. Says fffebfff is bad. I have reduced the CPU speed down to 1GHZ with the exact same results. I have tried the stick in another system, with a Pentium 4 2.6GHZ 800FSB with factory and lax timings, the same results were seen. I can run the memory at 166MHZ or lower with no errors, but it seems when it reaches 180MHZ and higher, the errors start. Here are my settings, though I have tried many with the exact same results at 200MHZ bus with only this memory module. Timings: 2-3-3-6 2-3-3-7 2-3-3-8 2.5-3-3-6 2.5-3-3-7 2.5-3-3-8 3-3-3-6 3-3-3-7 3-3-3-8 Voltage: 2.7V Bus: 166MHZ - no errors 175MHZ - no errors 180MHZ - 1 error 200MHZ - 9 errors ABIT NF7-S v2.0 AMD 3200+ 400FSB WD Raptor 36.6GB Shuttle XPC INTEL 2.6GHZ 800FSB WD Raptor 36.6GB I know this specific memory chip is bad, and I would like to send it in for replacement. If I have to send in both, please let me know. Thank you for your time, James Tucker

jttt
I have sent my memory back, and have not heard a peep or recieved anything back. It has been about 11 days so far. Is there anyway to check the status? James Tucker
Jabberwok
Give it time because your box has to get past standard post first. That's the long part. Once at Corsair I think it takes something like two days & then it's back in your hands...

jttt
I get a Free Pen? LoL, it had no Ink.....Just a note, if you are going to send a free pen, might want to send one with more than 1 sentence lines worth of ink. Not complaining, just a tip to pass on.
