Hi all,

Just wanted to post and ask/confirm that I will be setting these up correctly when the time comes.

I will be building in the Thermaltake Level 20 XT with a full Hydro X CPU/GPU loop. Dual 480mm XR7 rads in the top of the case in push/pull, a total of 16 fans for the two rads.

Two more fans in the rear exhaust. Three fans in the front for intake. A total of 21 fans.

I am aiming to have all of the RGB, and PWM control sent to iCue, yes for all 21 fans.

For some further clarity here's the picked out build thus far: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/VforValens/saved/27JRkL

According to the helpful post for the CoPro's, particularly this one, I am assuming that I should be able to do this like so.

CoPro 1

  • 6x LL120 PWM to CoPro #1 Fan ports 1-6
  • 6x LL120 RGB Control to RGB Hub #1 ports 1-6
  • 1x RGB Hub #1 RGB Control to CoPro #1 LED1
  • 1x USB 2.0 header from CoPro #1 to Mobo USB2 header
  • 1x SATA power from PSU to RGB Fan Hub #1
  • 1x SATA power from PSU to CoPro #1

CoPro 2

  • 6x LL120 PWM to CoPro #2 Fan ports 1-6
  • 6x LL120 RGB Control to RGB Hub #2 ports 1-6
  • 1x RGB Hub #2 RGB Control to CoPro #2 LED1
  • 1x USB 2.0 header from CoPro #2 to CoPro #1 USB Header Extension
  • 1x SATA power from PSU to RGB Fan Hub #2
  • 1x SATA power from PSU to CoPro #2

CoPro 3

  • 6x LL120 PWM to CoPro #3 Fan ports 1-6
  • 6x LL120 RGB Control to RGB Hub #3 ports 1-6
  • 1x RGB Hub #3 RGB Control to CoPro #3 LED1
  • 1x USB 2.0 header from CoPro #3 to CoPro #2 USB Header Extension
  • 1x SATA power from PSU to RGB Fan Hub #3
  • 1x SATA power from PSU to CoPro #3

CoPro 4

  • 3x LL120 PWM to CoPro #4 Fan ports 1-3
  • 3x LL120 RGB Control to RGB Hub #4 ports 1-3
  • 1x RGB Hub #4 RGB Control to CoPro #4 LED1
  • 1x USB 2.0 header from CoPro #4 to CoPro #3 USB Header Extension
  • 1x SATA power from PSU to RGB Fan Hub #4
  • 1x SATA power from PSU to CoPro #4

Again I'm pretty sure this is all correct but just wanting a second noggin to assure me.

It should work.

A couple of comments - you can use PWM Fan splitters. It's not technically supported but 2x splitters work fine. We typically recommend no more than 9 on a single CoPro. BUT ... you can also get around that using a PWM hub.

You have 2 Lighting Channels on each CoPro. So you can put 2 Fan Hubs on each CoPro. It's a matter of management - that many fans can be challenging to manage effectively.
