ElectroGeeza
Hi! I have a laptop that came with 8 GB of DDR3L RAM, where 4 GB are soldered on and 4 GB comes as a RAM module. I have now replaced that 4 GB module with an 8 GB Corsair module (Value Select DDR3L 1600 MHz). The new module is recognized and Windows reports that I now have 12 GB of RAM. But I wonder, do I still have dual channel now or is my memory running in so called flex mode? Is there a software that will tell me what mode my memory is running in? Thanks! ElectroGeeza
Come to think of it now... I'm not so sure laptops even have more than one memory channel?!
