Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 15, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 15, 2005 Do you mean the part# is CMX512-3200LL? If so please try and set these settings manually and test the module with http://www.memtest.org. AI Over Clock Tuner: Manual CPU Freq: 200 MHz Memory Frequency: 100%/DDR400 Dim Voltage to 2.775 Volts Resulting Frequency: 200MHz/400DDR Legacy USB: Disabled SDRAM CAS Latency: 2T SDRAM RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 3T SDRAM Row Precharge (tRP): 2T SDRAM Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 6T Then test the modules one at a time with http://www..memtest.org. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 15, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 15, 2005 Getting errors with both modules would suggest some other problem. Especially if the errors we at the same address range. Can you test the modules on another MB and you did have the Dim Voltage set to 2.775 volts, right? masterprof
The bios doens`t offer the dimm voltage to setup, the adress was different, i don`t have the chance to try it on a other mb.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 15, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 15, 2005 If you dont have the option to set the Dim Voltage then I would try and set the timings to Cass 2.5-3-3-7 and see if they will pass, but I would suggest 2.75 Volts minimum with these modules. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 15, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 15, 2005 No problem, and you might check with Intel about the Dim Voltage as it was supposed to be added after bios ver P27 with the latest hardware revision.
