menu choice not recorded in macro

Hello,

I want to make a macro for one of the G-keys of my K55.

When I record the macro the mouse click is recorded but not the menu choice I clicked on.

Is that not possible?

I can't assign a keyboard shortcut to that particular item..

(software is Adobe Lightroom, command is File>Plug-in extras>Blend exposures using LRenfuse)

 

Is there anybody who can help me with this?
