Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 14, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 14, 2005 Can you tell me our modules part# (How To Read the Memory Label) and the make and model of MB you have along with the CPU speed and it’s FSB as well? In addition, please tell me the bios settings you have set for both CPU and memory and any performance settings that you may have set?
adash
Part No.: CMX256A-3200C2 MB:Chaintech 7NJS Zenith CPU: Athlon 2600+ (2.09GHz) 333Mhz FSB The bios settings were left to default for the CPU and the only changes for the RAM was to run it at 166MHZ so it would be in sync with the cpu and System Performance set to Normal. All other performance settings were left to default. I have 2 sticks of this RAM i run them dual on my MB.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 6, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 6, 2005 I would suggest we get both modules replaced so they match. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
