100i Pro AIO and Intake fan position relative to radiator

Hi,

I am about to buy Corsair Hydro Series 100i Pro AIO Cooler. The case I will be having is Phanteks 300P.

This cabinet can support E-ATX boards, its length from IO shield to front of the case is 400mm. The cabinet can hold radiator in front panel only. So do the pipes on 100i are long enough to reach up to the radiator mount position on front?

Secondly I guess I will have to install the fans as intake on the radiator. However due to front panel positioning it seems I cannot mount the fans after the radiator. It will be front panel then radiator and then fans in intake position. Is it normal to suck air thru the radiator? Would it affect the cooling performance?

Thanks.

The hoses are approximately 300mm in length. You will need to estimate if that is long enough.

Using the fans on one side of the radiator or the other rarely affects performance and even then, only in extreme cases with fractional differences. You can put them on either side. Most people are more likely to notice the fan noise in one position or the other, but that is unique to each case.
