cammpoint
I have a CMX512-3200C2Pro XMS3202v2.1 module that has started acting up. When I turn the computer on, all I get is a series of long steady beeps. When I take the v1.1 out of my other computer, it boots up fine. I try the v2.1 in the other computer and the series of beeps again. Both motherboards are Abit KV 8 Pro. This module has worked great for about 2 months. Have not changed any components on either computer, and both have been flashed to the latest bios from the Abit website.

cammpoint
NO, the other one that I had was not a Pro. It was one that had been running in another computer for almost a year.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted March 14, 2005 Corsair Employee Share Posted March 14, 2005 You cannot mix modules with this platform. Please try the modules one at a time and set the timings manually to Cass 2.5-3-3-6 at 2.7 Volts.
cammpoint
I have tried them individually, same results. The Rev 2.1 just gives a series of long beeps. Cannot get to a bios screen as system will not boot. Both boot fine with the rev 1.1 stick, the 2.1 stick was working fine till last week.
