bogs dollocks Posted March 10, 2005 Share Posted March 10, 2005 Hi ive got 2 Corsair XMS4000pro CMS512 twinx, the problem im having is in dual channel mode they keep restarting and freezeing the pc, these are running with no over clock at 400MHz 1:1 with cpu, v2.7 wont go any higher in bios, tried all the usual changes in bios like relaxing the timmings and lowering them still the same thing, if i run them in single channel mode they run much better and only freeze the pc once in a while, memtest comes up with nothing but super PI stops and give errors, i dont have any probs with my Samsung pc 2700 1gig matched pair and Geil pc 3200 1gig matched pair of ram so i know its defo the ram. thanks for any help sig not showing so here it is. Hi the CPU settings are bios mainly defaults, CPU ratio by H/W cant be changed cpu locked, CPU Vcore by H/W, FSB 200, system performance - normal did try high performance but made no diff, FSB/DRAM Ratio 1:1, now set at SPD, Memory timmings set to SPD, tried manual and high performance, ram voltage set to 2.7 wont go any higher.
