Steers91
Hi all, When attempting to install the backplate to my mobo, it just doesn't fit or even come close. I tried readjusting the screw slots back and forth and no variation even comes close to fitting the mobo. Anyone else have this problem? Do I need to order a different AIO? Thanks
Corsair Employees Corsair Jam Posted March 8, 2019 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 8, 2019 Hello Steers, This cooler will work with this socket. Try moving all the screw slots towards the center of the bracket. You can also install the standoffs, one at a time to help line it up properly. I did try installing the standoffs to help align the backplate, but I really do mean when I say it doesn't even come close, even with all the screw slots pushed as far towards the center. Would a picture help at all?
Steers91
Just wanted to reply. I realized that I had to put the screw slots much harder to get them to go all the way towards the center that they could, and was able to fit them onto the mobo. Thanks again for the help
