dugray
i was wondering i have the LL120 RGB 120mm fans with commander pro and lighting node the specs on the box of the fans say 600 - 1500 RPM but in icue the rpms go past 2000rpm and if i set fixed rpm to 1500 then turn it up the fan speed goes louder past 1500 rpm is the reading for rpm wrong or do the fans have higher rpm ? will this damage the fans? c-attack
It is a standard LL120 fan and it runs 2000+ rpm? I would be a little concerned. You won't damage it. It will probably blow itself out sooner or later. An extreme out of spec fan doesn't usually have a long life. Make sure you verify the reading from iCUE in the Commander Pro panel. Don't run other monitoring software at the same time. If that thing is really running 2000+ rpm, it will be catastrophically loud.
dugray
after a bit of messing around with it i think 1800 rpm is max its very loud when it goes past 1500 rpm when i run on balanced it will go to 1800rpm is this ok?
