spithaka
I have a PC with: Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3P-B3 motherboard i7-2600K CPU 4GB (2 x 2Gb)Dominator kit for dual channel systems, 1600MHz, 9-9-9-24, 1.65V running Windows 7 Pro 32 bit I would like to replace the RAM and install Windows 10 Pro 64 bit Using the Corsair memory finder I picked out this: VENGEANCE® Pro Series — 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 DRAM 1600MHz C9 Memory Kit as a possibility. The P67 chipset doesn't feature in the compatibility section of the memory finder, I guess because it is so old, but my motherboard is listed in the drop down for Gigabyte boards. I won't be attempting any over clocking, it's a work machine. Any comments welcome.
Corsair Employees Corsair Rick Posted March 5, 2019 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 5, 2019 Hello spithaka, I'm sure the memory will work. P67 shouldn't have issues with any 1600mhz kit, but it may with higher speed kits.
