koolicious Posted March 4, 2019 Share Posted March 4, 2019 So I just got this k68 and for whatever reason I am having this very peculiar issue with the volume up key. The volume-up makes the volume go down, but only on occasion. Sometimes the volume will go up perfectly normally, but others the volume will go down. It seems completely random as to whether the volume goes up or down when I press the key. Sometimes it just fluctuates rapidly between going up and down when the key is held. All the other keys on this keyboard work perfectly well, including all the other media keys, it's just the volume-up that doesn't work. I'm running windows 10 and I had a generic dell keyboard before this and the volume up worked. I've also tried the keyboard on multiple computers and had the same result. c-attack Posted March 4, 2019 Share Posted March 4, 2019 It seem as if the underlying circuit board is loose or causing movement across both buttons. If you have friendly return options, use them now and replace it. If not, contact Corsair directly through the Ticket Support System in the header above to start a replacement option with them.
