rgbuser
Hi is the LL140 fan compatible with Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Xtreme LGA 1151 motherboard? The MB came with Aorus RGB Fan Commander.
DevBiker
I don't think so. See this: https://www.facebook.com/AorusUK/photos/a.603570393125603/1187362611413042/?type=1&theater. Michael Oresteen I think i just fried all my Corsair LL140 RGB fans with this crap...none of the lights work now. I just bought and installed the Z390 Xtreme (upgraded from Z370 Gaming 7), and decided to try out the new Fan Commander (was previously using corsair's node's/controllers). Yeah, don't do that... EDIT: Looking at the manual, it looks like there is support for 5V addressable RGB ... but also 12V analog RGB. I'm guessing that the user quoted above stuck his Corsair fan into the 12V port. The may be possible to control a Corsair fan from the 5V header but you'd need an adapter for that to work. rgbuser
Thanks. That sounds scary. Can anybody from Corsair confirm this?
DevBiker
Thanks. That sounds scary. Can anybody from Corsair confirm this? I don't think Corsair will chime in on this - this is absolutely outside the scope of what they support. Corsair only supports using their fans with a Lighting Node Pro or Commander Pro.
