Kicaj
Hi, please advise. I own two Corsair PSU, one is old TX750W and one is brand new HX1000 (without "i"). Thing is the HX1000 makes some electrical ticking under the load (even light load) that is distracting me. It was not the case in old TX750. Please check below the recording I've made. Please suggest, shall I request replacement or these models have it like that? I still have 14 days for free replacement (i live in EU) but I dont want to loose time to get same issue on another one (again my previous PSU TX750 even with fans on was quiet in comparison to this one, lol) [ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ah4rJLXLaZA&feature=youtu.be[/ame]
Kicaj
Its from 00:17 till 00:31, and the noise spreads across the small room. Its not that noisy but its clearly distinquishable and distracting.
Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted February 25, 2019 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 25, 2019 I would recommend returning or exchanging it with your retailer if you just recently purchased it and it is bothering you.
