ikeleligh
Just got an H60 to install, and the short and long screws for the radiator and fan are the incorrect thread for the radiator. I'd really rather not strip this just to get it on. Anyone know what the correct thread is for the radiator and I'll go to the hardware store and dig around for them. Thanks! c-attack
6-32 machine screws. Standard length is 30mm for use with a 25mm fan, but you may wish to alter that if you using gaskets, extra padding, etc. If you feel the 30mm is just a bit too long and the screw touches the radiator, use some rubber or silicon washers to move the screw up a bit. Might as well get some while you're there, just in case.
ikeleligh
Thanks for the info. I'm not worried about the length, that's fine, but it's the threads that are all off.
c-attack
Maybe take one with you to compare. 6-32 is the standard screw for the vast majority of radiators and all Corsair models. I don't know how anything else would get in there except the stubby #8 case screws.
