ChampionEevee
I've just created this account today and this is my first post, bear with me on this one. I've purchased a Void Pro Wireless week after Christmas and have been told my mic sounds like "a block of styrofoam is in front of it" although the feedback quality sounds normal. I've checked through windows voice recorder and it sure enough sounded muffled. Does this have to do with a setting I haven't found in iCUE, or is it a defective product? Thanks in advance. I apologize if this is the wrong categorized thread and/or poor formatting or knowledge.
xMacias
There is a little foam thing on the mic which I believe is there to help block out unnecessary sounds from speaking. You could try taking it off and moving it around.
ChampionEevee
I have tried that before, though it seems to not have any affect on the sound whatsoever. EDIT: Rechecked the voice, and all seems well. Hmm... Edited February 27, 2019 by ChampionEevee
ChampionEevee
Once again, it seems that it does indeed sound muffled. I attached the audio files of what it did/now sounds like. Is there some sort of important issue I'm having currently? Does the headset have warranty in case needing to be returned? It sounds perfectly normal through the microphone feedback, so could it be something with the transmission of sound between the USB adapter and headset? EDIT: Windows bugfix seemed to have fixed the issue. I am so lost.New Compressed (zipped) Folder.zip Edited March 14, 2019 by ChampionEevee
