RulingTex
Hi all I've recently purchased a Dark Core SE and configured lighting to my taste (e.g. disabled logo lighting to save power) in my default iCUE profile. Everything works fine in normal usage. However once I lock my computer (CTRL+ALT+DELETE and Lock), the lighting completely resets to what seems to be default lighting (all 3 lighting zones on and and set to rainbow). Once I unlock the computer again, it changes back to my configured lighting. How can I change the profile that seems to get activated when the computer gets locked? Thanks and cheers
Corsair Employees Corsair Nick Posted February 21, 2019 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 21, 2019 The lighting you set in iCUE is being provided to the mouse while the two are communicating when Windows is active. Once you lock the screen, the connection is severed. You'll want to create a hardware profile in iCUE and save it to the Dark Core in Profile 1. The link below is to a How-To video we created and will show you how to make and save a hardware profile: [ame] [/ame] Let me know if you have any questions. RulingTex
Thanks a lot! Connecting the Dark Core via USB (and not wireless) to gain access to the hardware profiles is what I was missing
