GuruSR
I finally had time to look at my *own* security logs and found that the CorsairLink4.exe was accessing 96.17.128.66 via SSL, according to the IP records it belongs to "Akamai Technologies, Inc". Can someone explain the reason for this external SSL connection to port 443 on that IP address? If there isn't a valid reason, I'll lock it. GuruSR. GuruSR
At what interval is this checking for updates, as it took quite some time to actually "check" for updates (couple of minutes one time easily). Any possibility of future versions of Link to offer update checks based on preferences, so users can choose how/when to check. Good thing I checked here for a response, was about to block the connection. GuruSR.
DevBiker
You can block it if you like; it'll still run just fine.
