funnyjpg
Hello I was having some problems with my system randomly crashing. One time when I came back from a critical error the system said that I might be having memory errors. I ran memtest and sure enough I have many errors. It seems that there are errors in both modules. Some information on my system: AMD 64 3200+ VIA K8T800 Chipset (MSI K8T Neo) 2xCMX512-3200XLPRO Ram settings DDR400 2-2-2-5 Please let me know what I need to do or what other information you need. Thanks, funny.jpg

funnyjpg
I get errors for one of the modules in all three slots on the first pass of memtest. I'm currently testing the other module.
funnyjpg
The 2nd module had a few errors in one of the slots, but made a few passes with no errors in the other two slots.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 8, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 8, 2005 Errors in test 5 or 8 would suggest some other problem. Do you have the dim voltage set to 2.8 Volts?
