johnpombrio
One of my modules has the 4 bit stuck high on memtest on a certain section of memory. It is very consistent and always in the same locations. Not heat related as it consistently fails even when the system is just turned on. The other memory stick tests out fine. It fails in either memory slot. As I never suspected the memory, I tried EVERYTHING else. Right now I have AMD 3200+, ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe, NeoPower 480W Power Supply and a plethora of hard drives. I kept getting errors when loading Windows onto the hard drive. Drove me nuts…

johnpombrio
One of the cardinal rules that was taught to me in a business writing class was that all e-mails are really about persuasion. "I want you to do something by some time" should be the first sentence. I realized that my first message did not say what I needed. Thanks for your help!
