lpgascon
Hi Here's my configuration AMD Athlon 64 3200+ S939 ASUS A8V DLX TWINX1024-3200C2PT I was getting many errors when running Memtest with the following settings on my RAM (which was 2.5-3-3-8 at 2.6v) So I first changed the settings to 2-3-3-6 (2.7v) and i ran Memtest-86 v3.2 without any errors. But then I read that with AMD the ram should be set to 2.5-3-3-6 (2.7v) so I ran MemTest using the 2.5 settings but I'm getting a lot of errors. What could be the problem??? Can I try to run my ram at 2-3-3-6 and expect to get good results even with a AMD or I should ask for a RMA from the store because the RAM may be bad? (because this ram is brand new). Thanks
Wired
That doesn't make any sense! If it works @ 2-3-3-6, go for it :) You could also try 2.5-3-3-6 @ 2.8 volts (warrantied up to, but not over, 2.9 volts)
