HAL9000
I have a pair of TWIN2X1024-5400C4PRO and a pair of TWIN2X1024-5400C4 on P5AD2-E. No problems so far. I overclocked the 3.4 CPU @ 3.9 with 920FSB. The memory latency settings are at 4-4-4-12 and on 1.95 Volts. I was wondering whether I can increase the voltage on the dimms and if so, what is the max voltage I can go for. With 4 dimms, what are my optimal latency settings? Thanks in Advance. P.S: By the way, unlike some folks experience here on installing OS with 4 dimms, I didn't have any problem installing MCE2005 with 4 dimms on board. The installation went without a glitch. I'm also using 24-pin PSU (520W).
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 4, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 4, 2005 Max suggested Voltage for DDR2 modules would be 2.1 Volts, so yes you can increase the voltage a bit more. But if the system is stable I would probably leave it where you have it.
