Civilant
CORSAIR XMS, Xtra-Low Latency 2-2-2-5 2x512MB I am having the following problem during bootup. The only way I can successfully boot my pc is to have both 512 sticks in DIMM #1 and DIMM #2. I am presented with a warning say in order to run dual channel I need to have the sticks in DIMM #2 and #4. When I put them in 2 & 4 I cannot boot up. It loads the Windows XP background and then continuously hangs up and reboots. I don't know how to fix this problem any suggestions would be much appreciated. In addition, please tell me the bios settings you have set for both CPU and memory and any performance settings that you may have set?

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 5, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 5, 2005 That might suggest some other problem. Can you test the modules in another system? If not we can try replacing your modules if you like. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
