Cleancutx69
I have 2 sticks of cmx256a-3200c2 with different revisions (v1.1, v1.2) since they were bought at different times from newegg. Is there a way i could RMA both sticks and receive a nice matched pair of them? Thanks
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 3, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 3, 2005 These modules should run with out problems in just about any MB. You should set the memory timings manually to Cass 2.5-3-3-7 and I would set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts and you should be good to go.
Cleancutx69
I do not agree.. when they are together they dont function stabily compared to having them alone. Tested in 2 MBs, shuttle and gigabyte running w/ the settings you recommended. v1.1 seems better than v1.2 if i could put in my 2 cents.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 3, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 3, 2005 What were the exact settings for each MB and please tell me the model # of the MB. But I have no problem replacing the modules. As far as replacing them for a matched set. You would need to take that up with our customer service. As we do not sell direct it's hard to change them to another part#. Please send us a email with a copy of the form or all of your info name address and phone# and the Module part# and copy the link to this post and email it to Rma@corsairmemory.com. If after 1 day or 24 hours excluding weekends you do not get the rma please email the same to warranty@corsairmemory.com and we will help to resolve it.
