Boulder
Hi, I recently (23rd February) bought 4 modules of CMX512-3200C2PT RAM from http://microdirect.com but one is not working. I tried each module on their own in my Asus A8N-SLi Deluxe motherboard, with them all working except one. When I put the bad module in, the PC does not POST. Also, is there a UK address to send the RAM back to, or do I need to send it to Freemont? Thanks for any replies, Paul Cowburn
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 3, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 3, 2005 Paul, Please make sure all of the modules are the same exact part# and revision. If so then I would ask the reseller if they can swap the modules for 2 sets of Twinx1024-3200C2 instead. In addition, You do realize that with this MB if you install more than 2 modules DDR333 is suggested right?
Boulder
Hi, just checked all four modules, the part number (CMX512-3200C2PT) and revision number (v1.2) are all the same.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 3, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 3, 2005 I would suggest you submit all four modules so they all match. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
