Failed Twinx

Recommended Posts

I have a pair of dead CMX512-3700 / XMS3700 v1.1 (0325083) Twinx modules. They were purchased from Zipzoomfly with invoice available.

Troubleshooting results:

1. Abit IC7 Motherboard Failed... 2.6g Northwood with standard bios settings for memory and FSB 200mhz.

2. Replaced Motherboard with Abit IC7-Max3 Using above memory and CPU...Failed to post.

3. Replaced CPU with 2.4g Northwood and same memory....Failed to post.

4. Replaced XMS3700 memory with 2 CMX512-4400 / XMS4400 (Non Twinx) modules....Normal boot through windows.

5. Swapped 2.4g CPU with 2.6g CPU...Normal Boot through windows.

Looks like I need an RMA number.

If the XMS3700 modules are bad and within the warranty, can I upgrade to XMS4400 modules if I pay the difference?

Thanks For Your Help!

I am sorry, but we do not sell direct and would not have any way to chnage to another part#. If it has not been to long you can ask you reseller if they can do that for you. Other wise we would only be able to replace them for the same part# that you send in.

Please send us a email with a copy of the form or all of your info name address and phone# and the Module part# and copy the link to this post and email it to Rma@corsairmemory.com.

If after 1 day or 24 hours excluding weekends you do not get the rma please email the same to warranty@corsairmemory.com and we will help to resolve it.
