While reading the m/b manual, it specifically notes: "When using 333Mhz FSB CPU, the system memory supports DDR333 only." Obviously I should have purchased the VS1GBKIT333. However, I would rather not go through the hassle of returning if I can be assured the 400Mhz memory will clock backwards to 333Mhz with no performance issues.
