natefrog
So I just got a K70 keyboard a few days ago and am really liking it. I just downloaded a profile that I like and would like to set it to the hardware profile #1 to be in use when I lock the computer. I don't see any easy way to do this. When I click one of the hardware profiles in the profiles list an option for 'Onboard profiles" for the K70 appears, but when I click onto the profile I want as an onboard profile the option disappears. I don't see any option to convert the profile to a hardware profile and when I choose to copy the profile I don't get a hardware option either. Do I have to copy each and every lighting effect over to the hardware profile and then go to onboard profile to save it to the keyboard or is there something I'm missing? c-attack
No, you need to copy each effect over through the lighting library or sometimes it is easier simply to recreate it, depending on the complexity. The hardware profiles have more restrictive rules (5 static color max or 1 predefined effect, etc.) so there has to be a block from copying stuff in you can't use, but it will give you a warning when you run afoul. Ya that makes sense now that I think about it.
