StefanHH
Dear Community, I'm trying to connect an MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC with a an RM650X. The Board wants for the CPU an 8 pin12V and a 4 pin 12 V connector. The psu doesn't seem to offer an option for the latter. Is there a solution (e.g. adapter or additional cable)? Thanks
DevBiker
Just split the 8 pin 12V into two 4 pin 12V connectors.
StefanHH
The 8 pin 12 V is needed "as such" and so I don't see an option to connect 4 pin 12 V
DevBiker
You have 3 connectors for 12V CPU/EPS and 12V PCI Express. One would be for your 8 pin, one for the GPU and one for the 4 pin. If you need the cable itself, you can order it online at Corsair.com. You'd want a Type 4 cable.
StefanHH
Thanks for the answers, but according to p.10 of the manual: https://www.corsair.com/corsairmedia/sys_master/productcontent/RMx_2018_Manual.pdf the psu comes with only 1 eps cable (which is needed for the 8 pin connector). I guess I have to buy the additional cable then.
