FeeNiX
Anyone found a way to connect the CLNP or Commander outside the computer temporarily while I work on effects behind a custom front plate I am building? I have a a powerbrick going to a SATA power cable from some old hard drive external adapters, but I cannot seem to find a cable that will connect to the CLNP or Commander to my computer external USB ports for control. My understanding is that both of these devices require a connection to a 9 pin USB motherboard header. I have found cables that go USB A to 5pin motherboard header plug, but not 9 pin. It would be a lot easier for me to work on mocking this up if I was able to test effects while it was out on the workbench. Any help?
DevBiker
For the lighting effects, you can use a single USB A to 5pin motherboard header plug. You'll plug this into the row with only 4 pins ... so you'll need to skip over one of the pins.
