Darkness1015
Not sure if this info is already posted somewhere. What is the best way to do a full backup/restore of iCUE when a new iCUE release is out ? Right now I am just doing a Windows 10 restore point. Has this worked well for everyone ? I just want the ability to restore to a previous iCUE version (with all settings/lighting/etc) incase there are any issues in the latest build. Ideas welcome. DevBiker
For iCUE itself, you'll want to add/remove. Backing up profiles, etc ... I zip the entire %APPDATA%\Corsair\CUE folder. That has everything.
Darkness1015
So you do the following and all settings/lightings/etc are saved ? : 1. Add/Remove of iCUE 2. Install new iCUE version 3. Restore %APPDATA%\Corsair 4. Start iCUE
DevBiker
Yup. Just make sure that both the service and the application are stopped before you restore to that folder.
