iCue Not Detecting HX850i

As title says, iCue is not detecting my Psu. Psu is connected to NZTX internal usb hub and hub is naturally connected to motherboard usb socket. Psu green light is on. USBDeview detects all my corsair items with names on them and one specific item without a name. i suspect it is psu. so my computer sees it but how come icue doesnt. what can i do to solve it. I installed an older version of Clink and it was shown on it. but no luck on icue.

This happened to me same PSU on X99 Board. Solved it by removing icue and removing all corsair drivers & Ghost Drivers from device manager restart and reinstall icue. I had this a few times then found that icue doesnt like USB power-management. So i switched off Power-management on all Corsair USB devices Device Manager>Select Corsair Device> Rightclick>Properties> and uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

Since doing so not had a problem with 850 and icue. Hope this help you. ;-)

Must add, Im not sure if the power-management problem is an iCue problem of specific to the X99 board or both. So im not saying corsair have power-management problem its a solution i found that fixed the problem for me.

i took a look to device manager, couldnt find that option. but i will give a 2nd try tonight. i uninstalled icue and re installed again. aren't drivers are already deleted, by just uninstalling icue. or should i also remove the one by one from device manager?

do you guys have other solution please? should i connect psu cable necessarily to commander pro instead of motherboard?

1. Disconnect all your corsair usb devices leaving your keyboard and mouse (if you use corsair K&M).

2. Boot to windows goto device manager. At the top select the view tab and select "Show hidden devices" now browse all usb devices deleting all that belong to corsair including the grey out ones(ghost drivers).

3. Restart & install iCue.

4. Shutdown system and connect your PSU to the USB header.

5. Boot the system and your problem should be solved.

The above assumes you have already uninstalled iCue.

1-disconnected all my corsair devices from uscb such as mm800rgb, st100rgb, void rgb and psu usb connection (excluding h150i pro, vengeance ram, commander pro and lighting node - I cannot disconnect them)

2-deleted all corsair drivers from device manager, icue already uninstalled

3,4,5 - did that but nothing changed.

any other solutions? i had several problems with my lighting strips and icue updates solved it eventually.
