The_SweatySmurf
Does anyone have a firmware earlier than 3.07? I've contacted support, and talked to 3 different people, first I was told that there's no way to revert back to an older firmware. Finally the 3rd person I talked to told me they can email me an image of an older firmware that I can update my keyboard to. When I got an email it started they no longer have any previous firmware for my keyboard. How don't they have the previous firmware available? So once again can anyone send me an earlier firmware for the K63 wireless? Can I just reset my firmware? The reason why I need to revert back to an earlier firmware is because I use this keyboard with the Xim Apex on my PS4 in my living room. It works wired but after 3.07 it is no longer wirelessly compatible with Xim.
Osmar
I'm having a problem that needs to change the firmware too. keyboard is locking and does not work. To work again, you must turn it off and on every time. Problem started after updating the firmware to version v.3.

Luckily there is a super friendly community over at the XIM forums and one of the guys there posted the rolled back firmware (v1.07) Here are his links that he posted: Keyboard Firmware v1.07 https://mega.nz/#!BhBDHIAA!XFZM1q3eZXcM2rbSqwDd45CtnIIIoxtl4-_6vBAxh04 Corsair Utility Engine v2.24.50 (Which is needed to flash the 1.02 firmware) https://mega.nz/#!owpnDK7D!rksiCceqxCHr0LQ3w-Urr--pz4C0qsSCzTybWgXhf0E Also here is a link to the posts on the other forum that explain how to roll everything back, I just did mine, its not too difficult. Hopefully Corsair doesn't take this down because I'm linking to other forums but I wouldn't be surprised since they wont even release the firmware in the first place. buenahierba
what's happening with firmware v3.07. I would like Corsair to release a new firmware version with this bug and other bugs repaired. Another bug in battery level since I've updated the firmware from v1.XX to v3.

I came to step in which I have to copy the firmware. But I get a message that the file is too big by 2kb. I tried several times. But nothing like that. So I have a disconnet. But the keyboard is dead. It can not be turned on . After connecting usb, CRD_DISABLD pops up immediately. The keyboard is dead. And the computer sees it as a portable memory. Do you know how to fix it?
Handicus
Ok I’m having a similar problem, I’ve followed the steps, uninstalled Icue, downloaded the 2 files, did the pin thing and swapped over the bin files, installed the earlier Cue, but the earlier version of cue won’t recognise that I’ve wirelessly connected the K63, when I plug in the cable it picks it up, without the cable attached and with the dongle in the keyboard works fine it’s just not getting recognised in Cue, which in turn won’t let me flash the firmware as it says it needed to be connected wirelessly as well as have the cable in, have any of you had this problem? Apophis3
Probably because the dongle also has firmware. Install an earlier version of iCUE and do a force update of the firmware to effectively roll back.. You could also first try redoing the pairing, then see if you need a forced update. Handicus
Ok at this point if I plug in the dongle and turn on the keyboard I can type on it, lights work fine etc, in Cue it’s not even coming up, if I plug the cable in Cue registers it but it’s greyed out, you click the setting icon and the only option that is there is update the firmware, so you can browse to find an image, click update and it says ‘to begin firmware update turn on your device and plug in the USB wireless receiver, disconnect the USB cable and switch to 2.4GHz mode, plug in the USB cable to start the update’ yet as soon as I switch to the 2.4GHz mode Cue doesn’t recognise the keyboard anymore
Apophis3
Just out of curiosity, are you doing your flash update while using a hub? Both devices should be connected directly to a PC USB port.
zilphia
I have a k55 and I use it for an MMO. In december there was an update to the version software. Unfortunately after I upgraded, none of the macros recorded correctly and several keys mapped incorrect sequences. It was so bad that I had to shut down the software in order to use the keyboard for other daily use. I finally had to uninstall everything and reinstall back to the earlier version to get things to work correctly. Also-thank god I saved all of the gaming profiles to the archives, and exported them to a safe storage place or I wouldn't have been able to play. I have not and will not update it again unless absolutely necessary.
