Strafe MK2 and iCue

I just purchased a Strafe MK2 keyboard and installed the iCue software.

Prior to installing the software the "profile key" at the top left of my keyboard worked fine cycling through the 3 basic settings in my default profile.

However now that the software is installed this button only works when the iCue is open. As soon as the software closes the button is disabled and does nothing. Does anyone have any idea why this would happen?

I uninstalled/reinstalled multiple times however EVERY time I reinstall the software automatically "copys profiles" or something and the same problem persists. Any ideas on how I can get this working properly?

When iCUE is running, the profile key will shuffle cycle through your software profiles created in the iCUE application. When iCUE is not running, it will cycle through your hardware (HW) profiles saved to the keyboard. You can see and alter your hardware profiles by modifying the HW1,2,3 profiles in iCUE. There are some limitations, but the lighting and key alternations can be saved using the "onboard profiles" tab. It's possible you inadvertently overwrote the existing HW profiles, but that is easily correctable.

Ok, got it thank you. Two other questions...

Why does the keyboard profile change when I lock my computer?

And how do I change the color of the "profile button"? It is all different colors for the HW profiles but I can't seem to edit it for my software profile..
