Ranger227
SF450 abruptly shuts down when anything is added to the 4 pin molex or SATA connectors. I'm able to power the motherboard and able to play games fine. 12v/5v are ok. System specs: Gigabyte AB350/AMD 2400G
Corsair Employees Corsair Mint Posted November 29, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 29, 2018 Are you adding them while the system is running? Or do you mean that the system is having trouble booting once the device has been added?
Ranger227
Are you adding them while the system is running? Or do you mean that the system is having trouble booting once the device has been added? Both, the system will not boot with any peripherals added and when added it will instantly shut down. When attempting to boot with peripherals it will power on for a millisecond with a click sound then shut down and not power back on.
Corsair Employees Corsair Mint Posted November 30, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 30, 2018 Does it happen on different ports? In either case, I'd recommend a ticket with support, there could be a short that causing it to shut off. http://support.corsair.com
