TheServer
Recently I've installed a new SSD running windows 10 on it, after I've installed all my drivers back I downloaded the new ICUE software program for the headset in order to use surround sound but it doesn't work. I have turned on the surround sound but it is still in stereo. Afterwards I went back to my old hard drive to launch the older version of CUE 2.24.50 ( the one I've used before installing the SSD) but ended with the same result, no surround sound. Anyone have a solution to this problem?
Corsair Employees Corsair Mint Posted November 29, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 29, 2018 Hi TheServer, Could you try doing a repair of the installation of iCUE? It sounds like the audio driver didn't install properly and isn't engaging like it should.
TheServer
Thank you for responding, I have tried repairing and reinstalling the program before and it hasn't worked at all, when I toggle the Dolby surround sound I can hear the announcer say "surround on" in surround sound but when I listen to other audios such as Youtube videos or gaming it's in stereo.
