CalamityJake
Hi, There is no test for this motherboard in the compatibility reports, although a rather similar one, Asus P4R800-VM is listed as compatible with corsair memory. Has the -V Deluxe been left out on purpose? Are there known compatibility problems? I have to buy one or two 256 VS modules for a system based on this mobo. I'd appreciate an answer/suggestion as fast as possible.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 28, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 28, 2005 Weather the MB is a deluxe or whatever sales tag they put on them, as long as the part# is the same the list of modules would be the same.

No, you don't understand. The two motherboards ARE different. You can check them out at http://www.asus.com/products3.aspx?l1=3&l2=12&l3=28&slname=ATI%20RADEON%209100%20IGP From their specifications: For P4R800-V Deluxe: Chipset ATI RADEON 9100 IGP ATI IXP150 <-- For P4R800-VM: ATI RADEON 9100 IGP ATI IXP200 <--
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 28, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 28, 2005 The suggest modules would be the same. And I would suggest 2 VS256MB400 modules or 2-V512MB333 modules with this MB.

Alright, thanks for the quick replies. It's not as much about "suggested" as it is about "compatible". Do you guarantee that they will be compatible?
