PapaLaz
Hi, I'm thinking of buying a set of TWINX1024-3200C2PT, but am looking to overclock it and thought I'd check it out here first. Initially I'll be running it on an MSI 875P with a P4 3.0c - running with FSB@240 and would like to run the memory at 1:1 (not too bothered about relaxing the timings). Are these settings likely to work ? I don't mind if it doesn't quite hit 240, but would like to get close, as the CPU runs happily 3.0c@3.6. Second question, I'll be upgrading at some point to a NF4/64 setup, probably with either the ASUS or MSI boards (not going SLi route). Are there any compatability probs with this RAM with A64s or these baords ? Thx in advance for your help. PapaLaz
CMC_SAVAGE
The 320C2's would'nt be the best overclockers. I'd recommend the TWINX1024-4400C25's. You'd be able to get a high frequency with decent timings. On the other hand. The TWINX1024-3200XL's would probably get the job done also. You would'nt be able to go as high with the speed, but these would be a good choice if you plan on switching to an A64 system.
PapaLaz
Thanks for the reply - too late tho as I already went and purchased the 3200C2's  Am very impressed, they ran at 240 with timings dropped to 3-4-4-8, so I upped the timings to 2.5-4-4-8 and all is sweet :D: Are the C2's still ok with an A64 system ?? If not I might look at some of the XL's when I make the upgrade. Thx again PapaLaz
CMC_SAVAGE
Not a bad overclock..........good job. The 3200C2's would work fine in a A64 system.

remaxJay
I have 1.5gb of ram which consists of 3x512mb 3200C2PT in my DFI Lanparty NF3 motherboard. I started off with a single 512mb stick at 2.5-3-3-6, but I guess I got a little greedy and didn't want to let the other 2 slots go to waste so I purchased a twin pack =] Are there any settings that I should tweak in order to get the most out of the 3 sticks or ram? I've seen many people with the 1gb setup, but not the 1.5gb that I am running. One last note... my motherboard does not support dual channel memory, so it's all running in single channel. Thanks in advance! Jay
Wired
Try 3-3-3-8. What is the revision of each stick?
remaxJay
Thanks for the reply... The original stick is v4.1 and the other 2 sticks are v4.2 Also, when I try to run the memory benchmark test in SiSoftware Sandra with all 3 sticks in, it gives me the error "Windows is out of memory or resources. Close down some applications." Everything used to test out fine when I only had the single 512mb stick. One thing that was suggested to me was that I adjust my virtual memory, but that didn't resolve it. Any other ideas? Thanks!
