Corsair Employees Corsair Hotpot Posted November 27, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 27, 2018 You can try doing a soft reset. Unplug the keyboard, hold down the ESC key, then plug in the keyboard while still holding down the key for 20 seconds. If that doesn't work try making a support ticket and our technical support team can help you out further.
borofanuk
Tried soft reset and the problem persists. The only issue is when opening a support ticket this keyboard replaced my original purchase from amazon.co.uk. Support upgraded my old keyboard to this one. I do not have a receipt for this as its a replacement from Corsair. How do I tackle that problem?

I couldn't get the lighting to blink at the end of the process. I was not sure if I had held ESC down long enough. I could not determine how long - 5 seconds versus 20 - that I needed to do it. In my case, neither a Soft more a Hard Reset was able to fix my problem. However, I got help from the tech support team.
borofanuk
I can't reset either. What is annoying is this is the exact problem my previous keyboard suffered from. I contacted support over 24 hours ago and no reply yet.
borofanuk
Support replied but I have one issue... They are asking me to pay for the return shipping (~£15?) I thought the law states in the UK the retailer (Corsair as they upgraded this keyboard and I no, can't return to Amazon) must pay for returns or refund the shipping cost once the fault has been confirmed?
