jayseearr Posted November 24, 2018 Share Posted November 24, 2018 hi guys I'm brand new here sorry if I'm breaking any rules, but my iCUE software will not launch. I plugged my new mouse into my laptop (which is like 8 years old now and has windows 7 o.s on it). The driver installed fine and the software seemed to install fine but when it finished the software would not launch. I tried re-powering my laptop as well as re installing ICUE and still had the same issue. Someone told me the fact that I am running windows 7 is the issue and I was wondering if any of you kind peeps could either confirm or deny that? Once again sorry if I overlooked any rules or threads with this topic i am just trying to get an answer without web surfing all night seeing as how i have already wasted an hour and a half trying to get this software open. jayseearr Posted November 24, 2018 Author Share Posted November 24, 2018 Well I downloaded the security update that a corsair guy suggested in a thread which was said to have helped some windows 7 users but it still didn't work so I ended up trying a different laptop (also has windows 7) and oddly enough the software launched so this issue is solved.
