ML120 fans CONSTANTLY ramping up and down and not responding to iCue software

I am starting to go insane trying to get these stupid fans to work correctly. I have an H115i Platinum that seems to be working perfectly.

I have the AIO set up in push/pull with 2 ML140 fans on the front, with the two supplied RGB 140 fans on the interior of the case.

I have 3 ML120 fans installed as exhaust on the top/back of the case. I have the front two 140 fans and the three RGB exhaust fans hooked up with a Commander Pro.

Everything with the AIO seems to be working just fine. I have it set to Quiet right now and the fans seem very quiet.

However, the stupid *** RGB exhaust fans keep ramping up and down for some unknown reason. I installed Corsair Link at first, which seemed to start creating this behavior.

Even when I try to use iCue to control everything, the stupid fans keep ramping up and down in annoying fashion. I've tried linking the fans to the AIO temp, as well as the CPU package temp to keep it from ramping but it just keeps doing it.

Also, one of the fans connected to the CPro is always around 750 RPM whereas the others are always running at a higher speed. What's the deal with that?

I'd really appreciate any help. This issue is driving me nuts.

There has been an issue with the "quiet" preset on the C-Pro for several versions, but it was supposedly fixed in 3.9. However, if you are seeing this while running from H115i temp, then I wonder if its something more simple. The most common error new users make it not actually applying the fan curve to the devices. You must click the desired fan curve on the left first (Quiet, Balance, Extreme, Custom {name}). It will highlight yellow. Then click all the fans you want to run that speed, which is likely all the exhaust fans. Those should then show a yellow highlight ring around the fan.

If this is not it, can you post a screen shot of the Performance Tab for the C-Pro with the curve you want to use selected so we can see it?

I have a slightly different issue, AIO and related fans work perfectly, speed control on ML140+ML120 on cpro constantly glitches. What happens if you try to create a new profile from scratch and apply the settings, does it work? I'm dealing with an issue where sometimes that fixes the issue, sometimes not, but on reboot everything resets.

Pretty sure this fixed it. I will post a screenshot later as well.

What I did was un-install Corsair Link to start. After that I made sure each fan actually had the fan curve active on it. Basically I did exactly what you described in your reply. I did a restart and all the fans synced up like they should. Not sure what was happening before but everything seems to be performing as it should now.
