sub30fpsgaming
Been using this cooler since ~2013 on my i5 2500k/asus p8p67pro mobo with a pair of Scythe GentleTyphoon 1450rpm in a push/pull config. Worked great. Finally decided to upgrade my cpu/ram/mobo. Just purchased the i5 9600k, 16gb of ddr4 and the MSI MPG Z390 GAMING EDGE AC mobo. I'd like to keep using the same cooler since its still fully functional. Is it possible? Will it be compatible? Do i need to buy some adaptors to make it work? Need haaalp:eek: This is the exact H60 model i have [ame] [/ame]
Corsair Employees Corsair Jam Posted November 28, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 28, 2018 Hello, The H60 will work with that board. You will just need to adjust the back bracket to fit the board properly. :D:
Kotoko
I have the exact same motherboard, cpu, but with a 270R case and with the 2018 H60. Would I remove the included rear 120mm fan from the case and replace it with the H60? And looking at the manual, it says intake to pc case, but the included picture in the manual looks like the fan is directing blowing out of the case.
