K63 Wireless and Dark Core SE wireless dongle issues

My K63 Wireless keyboard and Dark Core SE dongles, when connected to any USB port cause some games and apps to either crash or take ages to load eg Trackir software and Arma 3. On top of this, they also lose wireless connectivity after about 5 minutes. When I remove the dongles everything is back to normal. The only way to use the KB is via bluetooth and mouse via wired connection. I RMA'd the mouse but the new one is the same and I even bought an Inateck USB 3.0 PCI-e interface card as a last resort in case there was an incompatibility with the motherboard USB ports, 2.0, 3.0 and 3.1. I also turned off all Wi-Fi in case of interference, no difference and no idea what to do now to get them to work properly, has anyone any ideas please?

8700K, Asus Maximus Hero X latest bios, Windows 10 64 new install with no Asus overclocking software or RGB effects etc. Latest firmware on mouse, latest version of iCue, all my other devices work perfectly.

I'm sure the mouse and keyboard must work perfectly for most people, I just cant figure out why its not working properly on my system. I'm using an HTC Vive but turned off the power to the base stations in case they were causing interference. I'm wondering if there is some software or hardware incompatibility between the Vive and Corsair. Does anyone here have them both running together? I borrowed a Logitech G903 from my son and it works perfectly on my system but I prefer the feel of the Dark Core plus I spent so much money on the Corsair kit I cant justify just ditching it.

I connected the Corsair Dark Core SE and K63 to a different gaming PC and they work perfectly. I reluctantly uninstalled the Vive drivers from the original PC and the Corsair kit works ok as well. After reinstalling Vive, problems with Corsair! On my system there is definitely a compatibility issue between HTC Vive Pro drivers and Corsair. I suppose each company will say it's the others issue however all my other kit works with the Vive installed. This is a bit of a bummer as I doubt anyone will be interested in fixing it.

If you have USB2.0 ports, plug the mice dongles there. Perhaps the Vive is eating too much bandwidth on USB3. Or the Vive doesn't like coexisting with the encrypted streams from the Corsair devices.

I would make a ticket and report the issue to Corsair, so they can try to reproduce.

Another option is to use one or both on BlueTooth. If you do both, I've found it best to connect the kb first, wait until it's done, then connect the mouse. Otherwise you may experience severe mouse pointer lag.

I already tried on-board USB 2 ports and even bought a separate USB 3 PCI-e interface card but it made no difference so I'll contact Corsair but wont hold my breath for a solution. Will make do with using them wired in the meantime. I just wonder if anyone else on these forums is using a Vive with Corsair wireless with or without problems.
