Spiral
I'm having problems with my ram. I have Corsair Value Select (Dual Pack) 184 Pin 512MBx2 DDR PC-3200, but I believe it's just 1 stick. I've tested for many many hours with both sticks, and my computer crashes (hard crash, black screen, must turn power supply off) occassionally. I've switched the dimms and it seems to fail at the same rate. I've used 1 stick and it has worked flawlessly for many many hours. Using the other stick results in a very high fail rate, sometimes multiple times in 1 hour when playing games. I'd like to return the 1 stick for another if possible. The 2 sticks were purchased together. If I have to return them both at once, or if you have any other suggestions, please let me know. Thanks! Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 28, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 28, 2005 You can return just the failing module, but I would try and set the Dim Voltage to 2.75 Vols and then test the suspect module with http://www.memtest.org to be sure. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
